Copyright in Schools

Copyright is an issue that not many people think about on a daily basis. In the past few weeks, the issue has been brought to my attention more than ever. The media specialist has a high responsibility when it comes to copyright in schools, but he or she can't be the only one to control it. The media specialist must be an advocate for copyright by teaching each member of the school community about the importance of maintaining copyright standards. I am going to be looking into the ways that the issue of copyright can be managed within the school setting. I welcome comments about how the schools you teach in deal with the issue of copyright.
